Das CSCC ist am Universitätsklinikum Jena (UKJ) angesiedelt und widmet sich der Erforschung von Sepsis und deren Folgeerkrankungen. Hierbei betrachten Forscherinnen und Forscher alle Aspekte der Erkrankung, von der Risikobewertung und Prävention über die Akutbehandlung bis hin zur Nachsorge.
